Asseco's good practices recognized in the Responsible Business Forum report

Asseco's activities in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR) have once again been recognized at a nationwide forum. Initiatives implemented under the "AssecojestEko" and "We help" projects were included in the latest report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good practices 2024", prepared by the Responsible Business Forum (Forum Odpowiedzialnego Biznesu).

Sustainable development in practice - AssecojestEko

Asseco consistently implements activities that promote climate protection and popularize pro-environmental attitudes. In 2024, the company joined the tree-planting initiative with Posadzimy.pl, under which it planted 300 seedlings in the Przemyśl district. Ultimately, they will create a 333 m² forest that will absorb 1,800 kg of CO₂ per year and produce enough oxygen for more than 200 people.

How many trees the company will ultimately fund depended on the Asseco Sports Challenge. This is an annual sports competition among employees that aims to motivate them to bike and walk and run. Asseco, by engaging in the Posadzimy.pl project and continuing the Asseco Sports Challenge, achieved two environmental goals. It motivated employees to be physically active, so that for two months they covered 74,237 kilometers on foot and 172,665 kilometers on bicycles. By choosing biking or walking instead of public transportation and the car, they saved 1.6 tons of CO₂. In addition, for each employee who covered a total of 200 km in the Challenge and maintained activity in each month of the Challenge, Asseco planted a tree.

We help - Asseco employees provide real help

The second initiative highlighted in the report is the "We help" project - Asseco's proprietary charity program, in which employees independently identify those in need and the forms of support. The company's budget finances activities for orphanages, single mother's homes, hospices or aid foundations.

An important element of the program is personal involvement - employees offer their time, knowledge and direct assistance. Since the beginning of the project, Asseco has donated nearly PLN 2 million in aid, and thanks to the initiative, more than 6,000 children have received support. Already 2,000 employees from all over Poland have become involved in the campaign.

Confirmation of long-term commitment

The inclusion of Asseco's projects in the Responsible Business Forum's report is not only an honor, but also a confirmation of the effectiveness and authenticity of the company's activities for sustainable development, the environment and local communities. Asseco continues its mission as a responsible company - not only technologically, but also socially.
