Asseco will provide access to e-services at the Center of Oncology of the Lublin Region St. Jana z Dukli

Asseco signed an agreement with the Center of Oncology of the Lublin Region St. Jana z Dukli (COZL) in Lublin to supply new modules of Asseco Medical Management Solutions (AMMS). The solution will enable the facility to handle electronic medical records (EDM). Patients will receive access to the eServices package. COZL is the largest oncological hospital in the Lubelskie region, as well as the only full-profile, highly specialized oncological unit, both in the Lubelskie region and in Eastern Poland.

Thanks to the AMMS system, COZL will improve communication with its patients. They will gain access to electronic registration, will be able to fill in an online questionnaire before a visit to a doctor, and will also receive test results and be able to access to medical documents more quickly. All services will be implemented within the Medical Information Portal.

Asseco's new solutions will bring a lot of benefits to the patients, but also to our entire medical unit. We will not only be properly prepared to meet the legal obligation, but we will also streamline processes related to the circulation and exchange of traditional paper documentation with other institutions, through its digitization and introduction to the EDM repository, said Director of COZL Dr. Jerzy Kuliński.

The AMMS system will save time of medical personnel, doctors and administrative staff, as well as patients and COZL's contractors. It will also contribute to the reduction of the amount of office supplies used, thanks to the implementation of a significant part of the procedures in electronic form, said Daniel Pastusiak, Deputy Commercial Director, Asseco Poland.

Additionally, a system will be launched in COZL, which will ensure connection with the Hospital Information System (HIS) from the level of mobile devices through a dedicated application. Asseco will also be responsible for updating and integrating the specialized medical (Cytostatic Laboratory) and administrative (Medical Equipment Register) applications used by the facility with the ERP and InfoMedica administrative systems.

The completion of the implementation is planned for the first quarter of 2019.
