Asseco will implement the AMMS system in Paris

Asseco has begun a cooperation with MEDI-system, which belongs to the international ORPEA group with a network of more than 700 facilities in 10 European countries. The contract covers the purchase, delivery and implementation of the Asseco Medical Management Solutions system. It will be installed in MEDI-system's Data Center in Paris, and will be used by all network facilities in Poland. The value of the project is approximately PLN 1 million gross.

The main goal of the implementation of the Asseco Medical Management Solutions (AMMS) system is to digitize MEDI-system's facilities in order to streamline their services offered under a contract with the National Health Fund (NFZ). AMMS will help with reducing paper documentation workflow, improving the quality of patient care, and streamlining the work of medical staff in each facility.

The implementation of AMMS will support the medical and administrative operations of MEDI-system's facilities. The solution will be integrated with the existing systems: LIS, ERP and HR. In addition, Asseco will be responsible for conducting e-learning courses for the system's users and covering the application software with a warranty supervision for a period of 60 months. The installation of the system will take place in MEDI-system's Data Center in Paris.

In Poland, Asseco is the leader among healthcare software providers, but our ambition is to enter foreign markets as well. Therefore, the project for such a significant customer as French ORPEA Group will be an important reference for us. I hope that our cooperation will translate into the improvement of MEDI-system facilities' operations and will increase the comfort of  patients and the work of staff, said Krzysztof Groyecki, Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.

AMMS is a comprehensive IT solution dedicated to large and mid-sized hospitals, clinics, medical centers, outpatient clinics and outpatient departments. The system supports medical (HIS) and administrative (ERP) operations of the facilities. It offers a number of functionalities which improve patient identification, ie the registration of medical referrals based on two-dimensional bar codes or reading personal data from identity documents. It also enables printing and reading referrals in encrypted form. Passing these types of documents between different units electronically shortens the registration and patient admission process. In addition, it eliminates errors resulting from incorrect reading of handwritten documents.
