Asseco will implement the Open Finance Platform at Bank Pekao S.A.

Asseco will provide Bank Pekao S.A. with a convenient trade financing tool - the Open Finance Platform (OPF) - that will offer factoring services to the bank's existing customers, facilitate the acquisition of new clients, and integrate debt management and financing processes. This is one of the first solutions of its kind on the Polish market.

Thanks to the Open Finance Platform, customers will be able to use, among other things, miniaplications designed for businesses. One of the first ones will be dedicated to invoice processing and management, both from the point of view of the issuer and the recipient. In turn, the bank's employees will get an intuitive and fast tool that will provide them with full information about their customers, accept their applications or prepare a profiled marketing offer. OPF will be available to companies from the corporate sector, small and mid-sized enterprises, as well as to sole proprietorships.
The new solution will be created on the basis of an omni-channel platform that uses selected modules of Asseco Customer Banking Platform (Asseco CBP) and Asseco Advisory Banking Platform (Asseco ABP).

Currently, customers expect from their bank something more than just a favorable commercial offer. It is important to offer them services that enable them to process their financial documents in a comfortable, quick and, what is most important, secure manner. The Asseco's platform will support factoring services provided to existing clients and will also help us attract new customers,  said Piotr Karwiński, Director of the Transaction Banking Department at Bank Pekao S.A.

Thanks to the experience gained during the implementation of solutions based on the omnichannel platform, we were able to offer our client a comprehensive solution for handling trade financing products. We have developed all of its functionalities specifically for this project. It is worth noting that the platform has been built in accordance with the "user-centered design" approach, i.e. in such a way as to meet the needs of the end user, said Maciej Przybyła, Deputy Director of the Commercial Banks Division and the Director of the Services Department at Asseco Poland.

The implementation is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2019.
