Asseco will support SIA - the largest IT system at ARMA

The Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARMA) has concluded an agreement with Asseco Poland for the development and maintenance of the SIA system. It is the largest system of the Agency, which is responsible, among other things, for the payment of subsidies to farmers. The gross value of the contract concluded for 47 months exceeds PLN 177.111 million.

Under the agreement, Asseco will maintain and develop, among others, the key elements of the Agency's Information System (SIA), supporting the statutory tasks of ARMA in the area of direct payments, the Rural Development Program, the Identification and Registration of Animals, and submission of applications for area payments via the Internet. Winning this tender means that after a 3-year break Asseco will again provide services for SIA, one of the most important information systems in the country.

Asseco has been building, maintaining and developing the SIA system for over a dozen years - in the years 2015-2016 we initiated, among other things, significant technological and architectural changes that it then underwent. I am convinced that our extensive knowledge of the system and our previous experience guarantee the highest quality of services provided, said Arkadiusz Wójcik, Director of the Social Insurance Division at Asseco Poland.

Apart from Asseco, DXC Technology and Comarch have submitted their offers in the proceeding, however, Asseco has proved to be the most advantageous bidder.
